Where to find it
Search your business name on Google while signed in, or open your profile in Maps, and choose Performance. You'll see the last few months by default and can change the date range.
The numbers that matter
- Calls. People who tapped your number from the profile. For most trades, the main result.
- Website clicks. People who went to your site from the profile.
- Direction requests. Useful if customers come to you.
The searches section
Google shows some of the searches people used to find you. It's worth a look: if your main service barely appears, your categories or services list may not be telling Google what you do.
What to ignore
- Profile views on their own. Views without calls don't pay anything.
- Small week-to-week swings. Look at the trend over months.
- Totals from before you fixed the profile, if you've made big changes since.
What to do with it
Write down calls, website clicks and directions each month. If they're climbing, keep doing what you're doing. If they're flat while you're adding reviews and posts, look at categories, services and photos next.
Rather not do this yourself? Our Google Business Profile management handles the profile, the posts and the reviews every week, for one monthly fee.
