Case study
Bug Out Pest Solutions had spam pages running on its own domain
Google had flagged his site. The reason was sitting on his own server and nobody had told him.
Where they started
Chris runs Bug Out Pest Solutions in Brisbane. Google had flagged his website and he did not know why. Someone had got into his WordPress site and published pages under his business name. One was a crypto signal group. The others were fake software downloads. They were live on his own domain the whole time.
What we did
- Found the injected pages and showed him the exact URLs running on his domain.
- Built him a new site, with the SEO done properly across all 33 pages.
- Moved the domain off the host that had been broken into.
- Kept his email running through the nameserver move, so nothing bounced.
- Killed the spam pages. They return 410 Gone now.
What happened
New site live on bugoutpest.com.au, off the compromised host, spam pages dead. He sent the message below the same day he saw it.
