Proof sells building work
Nobody hires a builder off an advert. They hire the one whose finished projects look like what they want. A page for every completed project, with photos, the suburb, what was built and how long it took, does more than any campaign.
Architects and building designers
Designers and draftspeople are asked "who should build this?" all the time. A builder who prices their plans accurately, turns quotes around quickly and doesn't value-engineer their design away gets recommended again.
The searches worth chasing
Specific project searches with a suburb, like second storey additions or knockdown rebuilds, are worth far more than "builder". A page per project type, and a Google Business Profile listing each one as a service, is how a smaller builder shows up where the volume builders don't bother.
Past clients
Past clients are a builder's best lead source, but only if they're asked. A handover pack with your details, a request for a review, and a check-in at the twelve-month maintenance visit keeps you top of mind when their friends start planning.
Site signs and neighbours
Neighbours watch a build closely. A tidy site, a good sign and a letter introducing yourself before work starts turns curious neighbours into enquiries, especially in streets full of houses the same age.
Paid ads, carefully
Ads can work for builders when they're split by project type, targeted to the areas you build in and kept clear of kit homes, owner-builder and job searches. Judge them on site visits, not clicks, and give them months, not weeks.
Rather not do this yourself? Our Google Business Profile management handles the profile, the posts and the reviews every week, for one monthly fee.
