Be findable the day after a storm
After a storm, leak and storm damage searches jump overnight. The roofers who get those calls are the ones already sitting in the map pack with recent reviews and a phone number that gets answered. You can't build that the morning after, so it has to be done before.
Restorations in the quiet months
Tile and metal restorations are planned jobs that people research. Before and after photos with the suburb, on your site and on your profile, are what convert them. Every restoration you finish is marketing for the next one, if you photograph it.
Real estate agents
Houses going on the market often need roof repairs, repointing or a clean-up before photos and inspections. A good relationship with a few local agents can bring steady pre-sale work, and those jobs often have deadlines that favour someone reliable.
Insurance work
Storm damage claims bring work, but the searches often want the insurer. Ads and pages about storm damage repair, with a line about helping homeowners through the claim, catch the people who need a roofer to quote.
Gutters as a way in
Gutter cleaning and replacement are smaller jobs, but they get you on the roof and in front of problems the homeowner didn't know about. Quote what you find, with photos, and some of those turn into restorations.
Past customers and neighbours
- Ask for a review the day you finish, by text.
- Leave a flyer in the letterboxes either side of a restoration while the scaffolding is up.
- Check in with past restoration customers before the wet season.
- Keep a list of leak call-outs to follow up for gutter or repointing work.
Rather not do this yourself? Our Google Business Profile management handles the profile, the posts and the reviews every week, for one monthly fee.
